Case Study: Shaker Elegance - A Former Garage Transformed

The challenge

This project entailed the transformation of a converted garage into an elegant and highly functional kitchen and utility space. The Pronorm Kitchen Design team collaborated closely with the client’s builder to ensure that every detail was executed with precision. The seamless integration of elements, such as the breakfast bar and the fluid connection between the kitchen and dining areas, was a testament to this close partnership.

The brief

The vision for the design was to create a kitchen that felt light and airy, despite its location in a former garage space. The client sought a comfortable breakfast bar with seating that would not disrupt the natural flow between the kitchen and the adjacent dining area. In addition, the project encompassed a separate utility room, thoughtfully designed to complement the kitchen’s aesthetic.

The collections

The kitchen was crafted using Pronorm's X-Line shaker style in a sophisticated Agate Grey hue, featuring a solid wood frame that provides a serene, neutral foundation, enhancing the space's light and airy ambiance. The utility room was built in Pronorm's Classicline, incorporating titanium handles to create a modern, cohesive look that aligns seamlessly with the kitchen.
