Hausmesse 2024 - The Latest in Kitchen Design and Engineering from pronorm

The Pronorm Kitchen Design team took a trip to Germany in September, to attend the much-anticipated annual Hausmesse design festival. The event is a celebration of creativity, innovation, and the very best in contemporary kitchen design, and as part of it, pronorm HQ opens its doors in the town of Vlotho to showcase the latest in its exceptional kitchen and living collections.

For our team, the visit was a unique opportunity to dive deeper into pronorm’s design philosophy, explore the newest trends, and experience firsthand the cutting-edge innovations that set the bar for premium kitchen design in the UK. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm, and the team was eager to see how this year’s theme, ‘New Living’, would be expressed in the collections.

Limitless Design for Modern Living

Under the banner of ‘New Living,’ pronorm's 2024 showcase was all about limitless possibilities - bringing the kitchen into harmony with other living spaces in a way that reflects both style and function. With a staggering 220+ different front variants and the revolutionary option of cross-product line planning on one platform, the design possibilities are boundless. The integration of kitchen, living, and dining spaces is more seamless than ever, giving homeowners the ability to create a cohesive aesthetic across the home.

The Newest Trends in Kitchen Design

What caught the eye of the Pronorm Kitchen Design team included exciting new colour schemes and exquisite wood decors that bring a warmth with the natural warmth tones. One example is this sumptuous sepia green Y-line kitchen, with a walnut mondial in the proline128 range.  

We were also captivated by the Japandi-inspired kitchen, a harmonious interior design innovation full of aesthetics, style and personality. In this stylish environment, wooden handle mouldings in cashmere oak, perfectly matched to the kitchen front, to create subtle accents. Expressive elements of the kitchen can also be found in the living room, where LED lighting elegantly showcases personal favourites and individual decorations. This is complemented by an integrated wine cooler, which is both. functional and decorative and further enhances the room.

Exciting New Product Ranges

Pronorm also presented new innovations beyond the kitchen itself. The addition of elegant dressing room products was a highlight, showcasing how the brand’s attention to detail and style extends into other areas of the home. These new products are designed with the same level of craftsmanship and versatility that pronorm kitchens are known for, offering a seamless transition from one room to the next, and a cohesive design language throughout the entire living space.

This display was a showstopper! The harmonious combination of wooden fronts in oak truffle grey with quartz grey ultra matt gives the room an elegant look and creates a perfect balance between modern chic and timeless elegance. Modern equipment options such as trouser pull-outs, belt holders and clothes lift effortlessly bring structure to everyday life. The versatile interior fittings of the drawers and pull-outs ensure that personal items are always neat and organised.

While not new, the premium kitchen brand i-luminate® that launched in 2021, was another standout in the showroom, with its patented integrated handle strip lighting among the highlights of the portfolio. More to come on that in our next Journal post.
